Several Home Remedies for Acne

The pronounced symptoms of Acne are: unusual redness on the skin and soreness on the face. The causes of acne are sometimes not very clear but surely they are due to some everyday event. These include:

A badly maintained diet, blatant use of cosmetics, some hormonal imbalances need for hygiene, digestive disorders and constipation, toxins that are present in the bloodstream, the menstrual cycle and increase in sugar intake.

These are some efficient home remedy for acne:

1. Grind peels of oranges into paste and apply to the areas affected. This is a useful natural medication for acne.
2. Mix almond powder and water to form a paste and put it on the face, allow it to dry and later wash it off.
3. Grind a cinnamon very finely and then mix it with one teaspoon-full of lemon juice and put on the concerned patches of skin.
4. Half a teaspoon of sandalwood should be mixed along with powdered turmeric and add it to some small quantity water and apply to the areas of the acne. This is considered one of the better home medications for acne to eventually cleanse the face.
5. A blending of cucumber paste can be applied to the area affected by acne. It should be left there for about half an hour to 45 minutes after which it should be washed away. This is known as the more common home remedies meant for acne.
6. Take some sandalwood powder and mix into a paste with black gram dal. Apply it to the acne area and then wash away using cold water.
7. With three tablespoons of good honey and one of powdered cinnamon, make a paste and apply to the acne before going to bed and wash it out in the morning again with warm water, when you wake up. Do this Home remedy for acne continuously for around two weeks and your face will be completely cleared of acne.
8. A paste consisting of nutmeg (jaiphal) along with milk that is not boiled can be applied to the area that has acne. This is another great home remedy.

Several tips to avoid acne:

1. Eat only foods that are considered to be healthy like fruit and vegetables.
2. Give importance to cleaning your skin with great care and gentleness
3. Make sure you drink 10 glasses of water at the minimum in a day
4. Apply stress management routines and focus on physical exercise and meditation.
5. Ensure your colon is clean.
6. Avoid using oily and synthetic cosmetics
7. Don't squeeze, press, or rub the pimples.
8. Keep away from meat, chocolates, coffee or any acid forming food.

You can as well consider Herbal cures that help treat Acne. Some popular ones are listed below:

1. Soak guggulu in some water for one night and then cover it over the concerned area. This is very effective.
2. Put cumin seed (also called Kala jeera) in water and squash it. Make into a paste by adding neem juice and put it on the area affected by pimples.
3. A Decoction of the famous neem leaves is also good in curing acne.
4. Massage raw garlic on areas that are affected a few times daily and this will help get rid of the scars.
